Brock Lesnar returns to wreak havoc in Hell in a Cell main event

Pick the bones out of this one.

Let’s begin with how the match started out – a singles match between WWE Universal champ Roman Reigns, and the man who took the honourable route with the Money in the Bank briefcase, Braun Strowman.

Not a classic was it?

Another pay-per-view card with two big guys topping the bill, is reduced to a restricted number of power moves, and the crowd wasn’t really feeling it.

Enter Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.

Realistically the four to competed earlier in the night were only there for the obligatory spots off the cell – something Reigns and Strowman wouldn’t be doing in a hurry.

At one point all four men were battling it out on the top of the structure, and while the Ziggler/Rollins simultaneous fall from the side of the cage through the announce tables was okay – it was nothing to write home about.

It was at this point things got interesting and the match was saved. Enter Brock Lesnar.

You know, the guy vanquished by Reigns at SummerSlam, now off back to the UFC. Or so we thought.

His kicking through of the cell door, followed by the dismantling of Reigns and Strowman was just the twist the top of the bill needed.

In all the chaos we kind of forgot about Ambrose and McIntyre, they could still be on top of the cell for all we know.

While a no-contest finish is never usually too satisfying, on this occasion it was just the ticket.

So, is Brock back? Or was it just a parting gift? When will Reigns and Strowman dance again?

Where things go on RAW will be interesting from here.
