Hosszu calls on swimmers to earn their keep through competition

18:04 02/09/2014

Speaking after her record breaking exploits in Dubai, Katinka Hosszu exclusively spoke to Sport360's Reem Abulleil about her thoughts on how swimmers earn a living.

Citing athletics' year-round Diamond League as an example to follow, Hosszu says swimmers should take part in more FINA World Cup events to earn their money through competition, rather than relying on sponsorship.

The Hungarian was an absolute force in Dubai, claiming eight wins out of nine races and breaking two world records in the process.
