Daniel Cormier previews rematch with Jon Jones at UFC 197

Cormier lost the initial fight to Jones in January last year but has since gone on to win the title that Jones was stripped of last March.

A string of controversies have followed Jones’ career and he has not fought in the octagon since defeating Cormier after a hit-and-run incident that brought about the end of his title run before being reinstated to the UFC in October 2015.

And Cormier believes both fighters are different entities now, stating that the first defeat to Jones left a nasty taste in his mouth that he hopes to finally get rid of when the two meet at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand on April 23.
