The second ITU World Triathlon Series event in Abu Dhabi has been a success and seen a ‘huge demand’ for competitors’ entry spots, according to race director Gary Marescia.

As well as hosting the season-opening men’s and women’s elite races, this year’s event held at the Abu Dhabi Sailing and Yacht Club, provided children and amateur runners with the chance to complete a triathlon across different age groups and distances over a two-day period.
