Jose Mourinho praised goalscorers Giovani Lo Celso and Erik Lamela after Tottenham beat Middlesbrough 2-1 on Tuesdayto reach the FA Cup fourth round.

He also had some kind but measured words for a midfielder Christian Eriksen, who’s been linked with a January move to Inter Milan and was booed by a section of fans before kickoff.

“Very professional, played very well, which is what I expect from him, and if his decision is to leave I think he has to leave with his head up if he gives everything, which is what he tries to do for the team,” said Mourinho.
