Mohamed El Shorbagy is the World No 1 squash player and believes that exciting events like the PSA Dubai World Series Finals are bringing the sport closer than ever to the Olympics.

“It has always been disappointing to be at the Olympics,” the World No 1 told Sport360. “We worked hard to get into the 2020 Games which unfortunately didn’t work out, but we have proved we deserve to be there.

“Everything is improving in the sport and we are heading in the right direction. I hope one day to represent my country at before I retire.”
