In the fourth episode of Sport360 Stories we meet Luke Norrey, a 24 year old from England who has taken the Emirates American Football League by storm.

Remarkable to think then, that he had never played the game (apart from on the PlayStation) until he had arrived in Dubai.

Luke’s inherent curiosity means his sporting career has taken in more sports than many. A regular football player in England, he also tried his hand at rugby. Having moved to the UAE, he then figured ice hockey was the best way forward – as you do when you move to the desert!

He soon stumbled across the Emirates American Football League though, and is now into his second season with the Dubai Barracudas. Having impressed in his new Line Backer role, he is going from strength to strength.

Norrey has found his match, a game that he loves to play and a game that suits him.

Luke Norrey will next be in action at the EAFL Desert Bowl, where the Dubai Barracudas will face the Abu Dhabi Wildcats at Dubai Sports City on March 18.
