Toronto Wolfpack’s new singing Sonny Bill Williams said on Thursday that the New Zealand team will “recharge straight away” after their World Cup semi-final defeat to England.

The second-row played his last match for the All Blacks in the Rugby World Cup bronze medal win over Wales in Tokyo on 1st November.

Williams signed for the Wolfpack just after the Rugby World Cup in Japan and he will help the North American side in their debut season in the Super League.

It is rumoured that Williams, also a professional boxer, will fight Paul Gallen in October next year with them both receiving $2 million each – reports suggest that a clause in his contract from Toronto Wolfpack will allow him to fight.
