Hosts Japan appeared in good spirits as they trained on Saturday, as they continued their preparations ahead of their first ever Rugby World Cup quarter-final against South Africa on Sunday.

Jamie Joseph’s side made the final eight of the competition after beating Russia, Ireland, Samoa and Scotland in Pool A, and have gained fans around the world off the back of their achievements so far.

The ”Brave Blossoms” beat the Springboks in the shock of the 2015 World Cup in England, a result dubbed the ‘Miracle of Brighton’.

The two teams also came face to face recently in a warm up match ahead of this World Cup campaign, with the ”Springboks” coming out on top on that occasion.
