“I’m the happiest footballer in the world” said Luka Jovic after he was officially unveiled as a Real Madrid player at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday.

According to Spanish media, Real paid €60 million to Eintracht Frankfurt to sign the 21-year-old Serbian forward, who last season scored 17 goals in the Bundesliga and 10 more in the Europa League.

“I do think the Spanish league, along with the Premier league, is the best league in Europe, and hopefully I’ll be doing well”, he said.

Jovic added that growing up his idol was Cristiano Ronaldo, and admitted of being really excited at the prospect of playing alongside Eden Hazard.

“Eden Hazard is a marvellous player, one of the best in the world. It’s going to be a pleasure to play alongside him.”
