Real Madrid legend Michel Salgado believes Cristiano Ronaldo will find it difficult to replicate last season’s form

Having had an almost fairy-tale season in 2016-17, Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo will be hoping he can continue his goal-scoring habit.

However, former Real Madrid legend Michel Salgado believes it will be hard for Ronaldo to replicate the kind of form he showed last season.

Ronaldo led his team to win the Champions League title, the La Liga title as well as the FIFA Club World Cup.

He also had a terrific year with his national side too, leading Portugal to European Championship glory.

Salgado claims he does expect Ronaldo to prove his worth yet again for The Whites, and carry their charge to retain the Spanish league.
