Emirati Fencers charge on ahead with the support of Sharjah Women’s Sports

Sharjah Women’s Sports (SWS) has done tremendous work in promoting Emirati women’s involvement in sports and their success at the AWST 2020 (Arab Women’s Sports Tournament) was testament to their efforts.

Emirati fencers, Alhayam Saif, 12 and Zainab Mohammed Al Hosani, 17 are just some of the success stories of the initiative taken by SWS to discover and hone sporting talents in the country.

Sport360 caught up with the young fencers to learn more about their journey and the support they received from the government of Sharjah and Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Sharjah Women Sports (SWS).
