The Jamaican superstar, who has won nine gold medals at three Olympic Games, announced this week that his final competitive race will be at the World Championships in London next summer.

Bolt turns 31 in 2017 and has admitted he wants to end his athletics career at the peak of his powers.

And Coe, who knows the world’s fastest man better than most on and off the track, revealed to Sport360 that he has already approached Bolt about keeping him in the sport after retirement.

“(I have said to Usain) I want you to know that you have an open house to stay inside our sport and I have already started to talk to him about the type of role he will want to play going forward,” the two-time Olympic gold medallist and former London 2012 supremo said during his visit to the General Authority of Youth and Sports Welfare in Dubai.
