PSG defender Marquinhos talked about Neymar’s 100th cap with Brazil on Monday as the five-time World Cup winners prepare for two international friendlies scheduled later in the week in Singapore.

The 27-year-old is set to join an exclusive club including Cafu (142), Roberto Carlos (125), Dani Alves (116), Lucio (105), Claudio Taffarel (101) and Robinho (100) on 100 caps for the Selecao.

Neymar has already scored 61 times for Brazil – just one behind Ronaldo and 16 behind all-time top scorer Pele.

“Everyone that has him as a friend wants him well, wants to see him winning, wants to see him accomplish all the goals that he has because he’s a great person” Marquinhos said of his PSG and Brazil team-mate.

The Selecao are scheduled to play Senegal in the first friendly match on the 10th of October and Nigeria on the 13th of October at the Singapore National Stadium.

Brazil previously played against Japan in 2014 in the same stadium.
