Ederson has revealed that Neymar’s failed move to Barcelona from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer has not affected his mood in the Brazil camp.

The Manchester City goalkeeper spoke at a news conference at the national squad’s hotel in Miami on Wednesday, ahead of the friendly international against Colombia on Friday.

He described superstar striker Neymar’s mood as ‘happy’, despite speculation suggesting he might leave club side Paris Saint-Germain in the European transfer window and expressed his own happiness at being nominated by FIFA as one of the goalkeepers of the year, alongside national teammate Alisson.

“I see him happy. Any player who wears Brazil’s national jersey feels happy. I can’t talk about this summer market because I don’t know what happened,” he said.
