Ahead of our interview with legendary American motorsport racer Allen Grant, here he talks about his childhood friendship with filmmaker George Lucas.

Grant says he and his friends didn’t take Lucas seriously when he spoke of grand stories and tales, not knowing he would later go on to create such epics as Star Wars.
