12:19 03/11/2015

German-born UAE-based skater Jan Hoffmann has traded brick and mortar structures and metal rails and created a concrete playground for himself in the golden sands of the UAE desert.

Hoffman, aged just 19, who started his skating career when he arrived in the UAE eight years ago, has long aspired to realise his dream of skating in the desert.
