A hit in the USA, roller derby has made its way to the UAE and is enjoying encouraging growth in the country thanks to Dubai Roller Derby who are at the forefront of promoting the sport and providing opportunities for women to participate.

We caught up with Dubai Roller Derby's Dani Hakim at a training session to find out what the sport was all about and how it is developing in the UAE.
