The fifth MKFA International Epee Cup takes place in Dubai this weekend, attracting fencers from over 15 countries.

Olympic champion Park-sang young of South Korea will be one of the star names competing for glory on UAE soil, with defending champion Sten Priinits and two-time world champion Nikolai Novojiolov also in action.

Despite having a mixed season to date, Priinits is confident he can pick up his form ahead of the competition.

Speaking to Sport360, he said: “I always want to win every competition. But to come here as a defending champion, it’s an honour for me, to take this kind of thing more seriously. I will do everything I can to win again on Saturday.”
