Former Liverpool midfielder Gary McAllister believes the Merseysiders are capable of winning the all-important midfield battle against Real Madrid‘s star-studded side in Kiev on Saturday night.

The likes of Jordon Henderson, James Milner and Georginio Wijnaldum have been integral for Jurgen Klopp’s men this term – and McAllister, who won five trophies with the Anfield club in 2001, is confident they will fare well against the likes of Isco, Casemiro and Luka Modric.
