Barcelona finalised their preparations on Friday ahead of their Spanish La Liga clash at home to Valencia on Saturday – but there was also the small matter of the Copa del Rey semi-final to talk about.

Barca have been drawn against their old rivals, with Ernesto Valverde admitting his side are in for a month with ‘added spice’ ahead of the two-legged tie and the return of the Champions League.

Those El Clasico Cup fixtures will be hold on February 7 and 27, with a trip to Lyon in the UCL sandwiched in between, as well as a huge La Liga game against Sevilla. Watch the video above to see what Valverde had to say.

Meanwhile, a victory for Valverde’s side on Saturday against Valencia (UAE: 21:30) could see them temporarily move eight points clear at the top of the table with second-placed Atletico Madrid away to Real Betis on Sunday.
