VIDEO: Swiss legend Roger Federer ‘very excited’ to participate in Mercedes Cup

10:32 24/11/2015

Roger Federer has appeared to banish talk of any impending retirement plans by revealing that he would be playing at the Mercedes Cup in Stuttgart for the next two years.

The former world number one has opted to play in the tournament in Germany – which has recently switched from a clay to grass surface.

The 17-time Grand Slam winner will use the event as a perfect tune-up for Wimbledon, which happens three weeks later.
