Agassi, who claims not to be superstitious, rather considers these actions to be “rituals”.

Further describing them as “reminders of the importance of the occasion” or the simple matter of “picking a ball that had the right amount of wear and tear”, he insists that such actions aren’t necessarily superstitious acts.
