His first game for Brazil didn’t go exactly according to plan for Tite’s men, but youngster Rodrygo was still over the moon after his senior debut.

Brazil fell to a 0-1 loss to their South American rivals Argentina in Riyadh on Friday in a friendly clash between the two footballing giants. Lionel Messi’s 14th minute rebounded penalty was enough for the Argentines to wrap up the win at the King Saud University stadium in Saudi Arabia.

For Rodrygo, it remains an experience to savour with the youngster handed his maiden Brazil call-up after some promising displays for Real Madrid in Spain.

The 18-year-old described his debut as ‘one of the best days’ of his career so far despite Argentina ending up with the bragging rights.

See what else the teenaged prodigy had to say about his Brazil debut in the video posted above.
