Lionel Messi marked his return from international suspension with the winning goal for Argentina against arch-rivals Brazil in Riyadh on Friday.

The Barcelona magician’s 14th minute rebounded penalty strike was enough for his side to seal a 1-0 win over Brazil in the Superclasico.

It was the 112th meeting between the two South American rivals and Messi was delighted to help his men seal the win at the King Saud University stadium in Riyadh.

While it was only a friendly, Messi stated that a win over Brazil is always special for Argentina.
