See Senegal forward Sada Thioub hail ‘mental strength’ ahead of AFCON semi-final

Senegal trained on Friday as they prepared to take on Tunisia in the semi-final of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) at 30 June Stadium in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Sunday.

On Wednesday, the Teranga Lions secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Benin to book their place in the last four for the first time in 13 years.

Senegal have never won the AFCON, with their best performance coming in 2002 where they finished as runners-up to Cameroon.
