World’s Strongest Man Brian Shaw, weighing 195kg, equals 100m rowing world record

People don’t usually associate brute strength with aerobic success but Brian Shaw, winner of the 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2016 World’s Strongest Man, proves otherwise in this video.

Shaw is 6ft 8in tall and 195kgs but put his weight to good use as he almost pulled the handle off the rowing machine to cover 100m in 12.8 seconds, equalling the current world record set by athlete Ross Love.
