Should golf be an Olympic sport?

As Rio 2016 moves ever closer the debate has gathered momentum with Adam Scott and Louis Oosthuizen announcing that they will not be playing in the competition as they deem it too disruptive to the rest of the golf season.

On the other side of the coin Rickie Fowler and Rory McIlroy have both publically stated that they would be honoured to represent their country at the world’s greatest sports tournament.
