Mercedes posted a video of Lewis Hamilton lapping Silverstone with the team’s new W08, and judging by his comments he seems to be enjoying his new ride.

Mercedes mounted a full 360° angle camera on the W08 so you can change your view and watch from every direction.

Hamilton’s seemed to be full of praise for his new wheels and admitted he was grateful to be in his position.

As he pulled in to the pitlane, he said: “I love my first lap in the new cars, I’m so lucky to have a job like this.”

Lucky indeed!
