Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde was left mesmerised by Lionel Messi’s sublime talent following the Argentine wizard’s record-breaking display in the 5-1 win over Real Valladolid.

Messi struck twice in the LaLiga clash at the Camp Nou to send Barcelona to the top of the table. The Barcelona ace also bagged two assists in the rout but it was his sensational free-kick which stood out.

It was Messi’s 50th career goal from a direct free-kick and it had his Barcelona manager in complete awe post the final whistle.

“He’s got this talent that nobody else has,” Valverde remarked in his post-match press conference.
