Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp praised his players‘ “brilliant” performance as a Chris Wood own goal and strikes from Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino secured a convincing 3-0 English Premier League victory for ‘The Reds’ over Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday.

Firmino became the first Brazilian to reach 50 Premier League goals before the focus turned to Mane when the pair were taken off five minutes from time.

The win extended their 100 per cent record to four matches, maintained their two-point lead over Manchester City and set a new club record for 13 consecutive league victories.

Not that Klopp was that excited about the numbers with the Reds boss keen to focus on his players.
