Brazil’s two most prolific international strikers came face to face recently – with Neymar on the verge of taking the national record away from Ronaldo.

The latter scored 62 goals in 98 appearances for the Selecao. Neymar has hit 60 in 96 matches.

There is no doubt that – barring injury or some unfortunate circumstance – the 27-year-old Paris Saint-Germain striker should far exceed Ronaldo’s mark.

But his preference will clearly be for goals from open play.

“They say that important penalties such be taken by the club’s president,” joked Neymar.

Watch the pair in the video above as the pair discuss all things Brazil.
