The Portugal national football team have signed shirts that will be used to raise money to help those affected by the recent cyclone which tore through southern Africa, killing more than 400 people in Mozambique and over 700 altogether.

Star players, including Cristiano Ronaldo, took time away from their Euro 2020 preparations to help the cause.

Any money raised will be paid to the Portuguese Red Cross, who are collecting funds to aid the humanitarian emergency.

In addition, the Portuguese Football Federation have organised a fundraising match between the women’s teams of Benfica and Sporting CP on 30th March.
