Paris Saint-Germain head coach Thomas Tuchel likened Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to a doctor ahead of their Champions League last 16 first-leg tie at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

Solskjaer has won 10 of his 11 games since taking over from the sacked Jose Mourinho in December, and Tuchel admits the turnaround in form has been ‘impressive’.

“Obviously there is an effect. We have a (saying) in Germany if you go to the doctor and if he heals you, he’s right,” said the PSG manager.

“How he does it is we don’t care. The pain goes away.”
