Barcelona star Luis Suarez started with a FIFA rating of 61 – see how he’s improved

FIFA 18‘s player ratings have Luis Suarez ranked as the fourth-best player on the game – and the game’s best striker (depending on what you think Cristiano Ronaldo‘s true position is; left winger, according to EA Sports).

So it’s hard to imagine a time when the Barcelona striker’s rating in the game was as low as 61. Yet that’s what it was back in FIFA 07, when Suarez made his debut in the game, as a player for Dutch club Groningen.

Since then, from Groningen to Ajax to Liverpool to Barcelona, Suarez has only grown as a player, and few would argue with his FIFA 18 rating of 92.

The game classifies him as football’s best strikers and there’s no doubt that in the real world, he’s certainly in that conversation.

Check out the video to see how his FIFA rating has improved over the years.
