WATCH: Anthony Modeste hat-trick puts pressure on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Robert Lewandowski

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Robert Lewandowski seemed to be engaged in a personal duel to win this season’s Bundesliga top scorer honours, but there’s a new player joining the battle.

FC Koln’s Anthony Modeste hit a hat-trick against Hertha Berlin on Saturday to put him right between Aubameyang and Lewandowski in the charts, and this is now truly a three-pronged race.

Aubameyang is on 23 goals, while Modeste’s hat-trick took him to 22, one ahead of Bayern Munich’s Lewandowski.

Can Modeste break the duopoly and take home the Bundesliga’s Golden Boot?
