Barcelona face Sampdoria in Wednesday’s annual Gamper Trophy, a fixture that traditionally sees the presentation of the new squad ahead of the forthcoming season that kicks off on Saturday August 20 at home to Real Betis.

There will be a number of new faces introduced, with Denis Suarez, Lucas Digne, Samuel Umtiti and Andre Gomes all arriving this summer, whilst Sergi Samper has been promoted from the reserves.

The 51^st edition of the trophy is a match commemorating the 25^th anniversary of the 1992 European Cup final at Wembley that saw Barcelona defeat the Italian side.
