Domestically, defending champions Guangzhou Evergrande were looking to extend their lead at the top of the Chinese Super League against last season’s runners-up Shanghai SIPG.

Luiz Felipe Scolari’s side started well and claimed the game’s first goal, but Shanghai scored the game’s second and last goal to claim a point and end Guangzhou’s 11-game unbeaten run in all competitions.

Do you think anyone can stop the champions this year?
