Carlos Tevez scored his fifth goal in eight matches as Boca Juniors advanced to the Copa Libertadores quarterfinals with a 3-1 victory over Cerro Porteno.

The result at Boca’s Bombonera stadium gave the Buenos Aires outfit a 5-2 aggregate victory in the round of 16 clash.

Former Manchester City and Juventus star Tevez opened the scoring early in the match before Cristian Pavon and Pablo Perez added two more for the hosts after halftime.
