Modern football players are usually in no rush to leave the pitch when ‘injured’ but West Ham skipper Mark Noble took things into his own hands at Upton Park on Wednesday night.

Manchester United were leading 2-0 in their FA Cup quarter-final replay when Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera picked up an injury and was about to be replaced by Morgan Schneiderlin.

However the process took far too long for Noble’s liking and he physically carried Herrera off the pitch.
