In this match between Pine Crest and Pine Forest Women’s Soccer a bizarre incident occurred when the goalkeeper decided to launch herself, shoulder first, into the opposition striker after the referee’s whistle had gone.
Somehow the goalkeeper was not red-carded, but did receive a two-game suspension after the game.
