With over 23 years of experience as a professional footballer, Luca Toni has been injured in training for some of the world’s most prestigious sides.

But despite his fitness problems, the 38-year-old has racked up nearly 300 career goals.

In 2013, he arrived at his 16th club – Hellas Verona – where he claimed the 2014/2015 Capocannoniere for finishing as Serie A’s top scorer with 22 goals.

There has even been talk of his return to the Italian national team, suggesting we have not reached the final chapter for one of football’s greatest journeymen.
