Auxerre may not be the strongest side in French football but their ex-boss Guy Roux certainly has a claim for being the greatest manager.

Having joined the club in 1961, Roux managed over 2000 games at Stade de l’Abbé Deschamps, including a European record of 890 top tier league matches.

After 44 years in charge, Roux quit in 2005 and is viewed as one of French sports most iconic figures.
