Inter Milan took home the bragging rights after seeing off Italian rivals Roma in their International Champions Cup match in Philadelphia.

New signing Ashley Cole started on the bench for Roma and had to watch on as Inter eventually took the lead in first half stoppage time – former Manchester United player Nemanja Vidic heading home to give his side a 1-0 lead.

Inter moved further ahead midway through the second half.

A flowing move put huge pressure on Roma, with Yuto Nagatomo eventually scooping a decent cross into the roof of the net for a 2-nil scoreline.
