Tottenham will encounter difficulties at the start of the Premier League season, says William Gallas

Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham fell just short of Chelsea in the Premier League race last season as they finished at second, above top-four rivals Manchester City and Liverpool.

They were arguably the best side in terms of playing style last season and their strong end to the season saw lessons learned from the 2015/16 campaign as they lost steam at a crucial time.

With another new season about to begin, former Spurs defender William Gallas believes a youthful side has plenty of work cut out to go one better.

Gallas, speaking at the Star Sixes tournament in London, said the team will need some time to adjust to their temporary new home of Wembley and could encounter some problems early in the season.

Meanwhile, Gallas also talked about John Terry departing from Chelsea and how the defending champions will have to fill his presence.
