Jose Gimenez has taken La Liga by storm this season with an array of sterling performances for Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid.

Often compared to Diego Godin because of their similar size, Gimenez has won more aerial duels and interceptions than his Atletico and Uruguayan teammate.
