The Chelsea manager has been under intense pressure over the past couple of months, as the London side find themselves within reach of a relegation scrap, rather than battling to retain the English Premier League title, which they won last season. 

Victory over Norwich did however see Spanish forward’ Diego Costa get on the scoresheet, silencing critics in the process after coming under scrutiny himself, after failing to measure up to the impact he had in his first season, at Stamford Bridge. 

Chelsea will look to build on this win and with the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United more than 12 points ahead of them, there is certainly a lot of work to be done – something Mourinho is well aware of.
