Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has likened Bruno Fernandes to Paul Scholes and Juan Veron following the Portuguese’s impactful display against Watford.

The January signing bagged his first Manchester United goal via the penalty spot to give the hosts the lead at Old Trafford, before providing the assist for Mason Greenwood’s goal.

In between, Fernandes was also heavily involved in the goal scored by Anthony Martial to cap off a fine individual display.

The midfielder has taken no time to settle into his new surroundings and was also instrumental in Manchester United’s 2-0 away victory against Chelsea previously.

See why Solskjaer believes Manchester United have got a bargain in Fernandes in the video posted above.
