Mikel Arteta gave a string of compliments for Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli on Monday, as Arsenal met the media during their winter break in Dubai.

”The biggest attribute is his personality – every time he’s on that pitch, he doesn’t care about who he’s playing or what type of game. He just wants to win,” said Arteta.

Martinelli, 18, signed for Arsenal from Ituano in 2019 and has broken into the senior team with remarkable speed, making 23 appearances in all competitions.
