Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has ruled out any interest in signing defender John Stones from Manchester City.

Arsenal have been linked with a move for the England centre-back in the January transfer window, with the North London club’s defensive frailties all too well known.

Arteta, who was previously assistant coach to Pep Guardiola at Man City, has observed Stones from close quarters after the Englishman arrived at the club in 2016 in a big money money.

However, the Spanish head coach has denied any interest in signing Stones in the near future when queried about the rumoured interest.

See what the Arsenal boss had to say about John Stones in the video posted above.
